This is one of my pet peeves. Because of a group of idiotically stubborn racists (read; Klan) shamefully marching with the Confederate navy jack (commonly known nowadays as the "Rebel Flag", and recently re-dubbed the "Dixie Cross" by the media) along side of the Nazi flag as well as the American flag, the NAACP has "profiled" all who display it as racist. Talk about the hypocrisy of wanting it both ways. This mainly began when the more moderate (and very wise) leadership of the NAACP was rolled over a few years ago. Before they began this campaign of dividing instead of uniting I was a regular contributor, and a rare southerner that was both proud of my heritage as well as a member of the ACLU. On occasions of national pride, I displayed both the US flag and Dixie Cross on our home. Since they shouted down my view as coming from an obvious racist, I show only a very small US in support of our troops. I see no logic in contributing to an organization that espoused equality but has fallen to demanding priveledge. To them, it seems, we all "look alike". L&R, Doc.
