I entered the service in '74 and that was not a good time to be in a public place in uniform. The public treated us like garbage and the Dixie Chicks were right in speaking out. It is their right as Americans. I held my breath while our troops swept across Irag and I'm glad it went as well as it did. Now that the intial shooting is over it's time for a real peace in a land that has never known peace.
