Many of you have asked how to write Rusty and send him things. Rusty answers all letters he receives. Here's the information:
Rules
As of January 20, 2003 the Federal Prison System is no longer allowing magazines to be mailed to inmates unless they come directly from the Publisher. Any subscriptions must have the inmate's name and inmate #.
No more magazines will be accepted from friends and family, or outside sources.
This new rule really bites.
Write "The Federal Bureau of Prisons" in Burlingame, California for complaints.
MAKE SURE A FULL RETURN ADDRESS IS ON YOUR CORRESPONDENCE.
You must always inventory all contents of items on the backside of envelope.
THE RULES: No mail containing nudity, no polaroid photographs, photos cannot be larger than 8x10 inches and you can only send 20 photos per letter, no food, cigarettes, magazines, candy, stickers, clothes, alcohol, etc. all mail must be in a paper envelope, boxes will be immediately returned. Color copies are OK. - NO BOXES .
